{"id":8819,"date":"2022-09-27T06:48:00","date_gmt":"2022-09-27T06:48:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/healthwatchminute.com\/?p=8819"},"modified":"2022-09-27T06:48:00","modified_gmt":"2022-09-27T06:48:00","slug":"beauty-health-shares-rise-14-after-new-share-buyback-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/healthwatchminute.com\/?p=8819","title":{"rendered":"Beauty Health Shares Rise 14% After New Share Buyback Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/mw3.wsj.net\/mw5\/content\/logos\/mw_logo_social.png?ssl=1\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\"><\/div>\n<p>By Chris Wack<\/p>\n<pre><\/pre>\n<p>Beauty Health Co. shares were up 14% to $11.81 after the company said its board of directors authorized a share repurchase program of up to $200 million.<\/p>\n<p>In connection with the share repurchase authorization, the company said it has entered into an accelerated share repurchase agreement with JPMorgan Chase Bank to repurchase $100 million of its common stock.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>Upon completion of the ASR, the company will have authorization to repurchase an additional $100 million of shares.<\/p>\n<p>Beauty Health will make a payment of $100 million and will receive an initial delivery of 7.7 million shares of its stock on Thursday. The company expects to fund the repurchase with cash on-hand.
