LGBT Center of Greater Reading partners with Drexel University medical students to hold health fair

Students at Drexel University’s College of Medicine and the LGBT Center of Greater Reading partnered to host a community health fair Saturday on center grounds at 640 Centre Avenue.

The fair was organized and facilitated by Drexel University medical students at Tower Health who conducted basic health screenings and eye and neurology exams.

Monkeypox and COVID vaccines were also provided at the event by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and flu vaccines were provided by Latino Connection, Harrisburg.

In addition to a free meal, the fair featured more than 20 vendors who provided health information, education and resources to attendees.
