The minister for presidency, Milly Babalanda, has urged Ugandans to emulate President Yoweri Museveni’s fitness.
“I challenge you to emulate our President who exercises all the time and because of this, he can keep fit, stay younger, stay intelligent and stay so energetic to continue leading the country,” she said.
Babalanda made the remarks Thursday during the celebrations of the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) 120 years anniversary at the national theatre.
She walked over two kilometres from Kampala City Square to the National Theatre in the company of UPPC’s board of directors led by the corporation’s acting managing director, Kenneth Oluka.
Babalanda said UPPC’s celebration of 120 years of existence should be commended.
She also applauded UPPC leadership for being focused and perfecting the Government’s work.
“I have no doubt the UPPC is on a march to a brighter future. I am delighted that UPPC is finally focused, results-oriented and business-minded, unlike in the past. UPPC is strong and can now move on independently with less of our worry,” she said.
Babalanda noted that the Government was willing to keep offering support, as it has always done in the past.
