In a heartwarming incident in Telangana’s Khammam district, a mother and her daughter cleared the police fitness test examination together with flying colours. The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 14, at the Police Parade grounds.

The mother, 38-year-old Tholla Nagamani, a woman police constable, and her 21-year-old daughter, Tholla Trilokini, accomplished a rare feat. Both of them cleared the physical fitness tests being conducted for police sub-inspector posts.

The mother-daughter duo passed with flying colours in the physical efficiency test/physical measurement tests that were being conducted for the selection of stipendiary cadet trainee for the post of police sub-inspector/constable yesterday at the Police Parade grounds. 

Stating it is indeed a proud and happy day for her family, Tholla Nagamani said, “I feel proud my daughter too got selected today, on the same day I gave my exams. Now we will both work as police officers. I feel elated and very proud that we accomplished that.”
