PARRIS ISLAND, S.C. (WSAV) — Officials say a 21-year-old recruit passed away while conducting a physical fitness test aboard the Marine Corps Recruit Depot on Parris Island.
Pfc. Noah Evans, of Decatur, Georgia, died last Tuesday. His cause of death is still under investigation.
Evans was a recruit assigned to Mike Company, 3rd Recruit Training Battalion, Recruit Training Regiment.
