Two new health science degrees are coming to the College of Central Florida in 2024. One will be the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology degree, and the other will be the Respiratory Care degree. Each are two-year Associate in Science degree programs.
In CCF’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography Technology program, participants will study medical imaging, developing the skills required to perform ultrasounds as registered sonographers. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to sit for the national credential examinations given by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography in the Abdomen and OB/GYN specialties. Graduates can be employed in hospitals, medical centers, clinics, outpatient centers and OB/GYN offices.
