WASHINGTON (TND) — Rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson on Wednesday sounded off on a California policy providing health insurance for illegal migrants in the state.
“[eye emoji] I don’t understand this, this it going to cost 2.6 billion dollars for tax payers,” Jackson said via Instagram. “They don’t even give veterans health insurance. @arimelber call my phone now, help me understand this s—. [shrug emoji] WTF.”
He went on to tag his personal alcohol brands Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi.

California on Monday became the first state in the country to offer health insurance to undocumented immigrants. A law taking effect on January 1 allowed 700,000 of the state’s 39 million residents to become insured.
Jackson has made similar comments that opposed Democratic leaders in the past. In October, he slammed President Joe Biden for going to his beach house during the Israel-Hamas war.
[eye emoji] hey Joe get the f— up, we in trouble man!” the rapper wrote, sharing a screenshot of news coverage of the visit. “We got some real s— going on out here Joe. what’s the plan to get a tan and chill come on now.”
Jackson is one of several rappers to publicly condemn Democrats recently. Rapper Sexyy Red in October said she hopes to see former President Donald Trump return to the White House, explaining “they support him in the hood.”
In November, Jackson appeared to change his gender identity, asking Instagram users to refer to him as a “thing” rather than a person.
“Please refer to me as the thing 50cent, I do not identify as a person anymore I’m a thing. Thank you in advance,” Jackson wrote.
