Bryan College of Health Sciences names new president; Lloyd steps down

The current president of the Bryan College of Health Sciences will step down later this year, according to a news release from Bryan Health on Monday.

Rich Lloyd will relinquish his role as president on June 30, 2024. His successor will be Kelsi Anderson, who has served as provost of Bryan College of Health Services since 2018 and will assume the role of president on July 1, 2024, according to the release.

Anderson is a Lincoln native who attended graduate school in Omaha at the University of Nebraska Medical Center.

Lloyd’s tenure as president began in 2016, during which he led the Bryan College of Health Services through a pandemic and the construction of a new simulation education center and launched a medical sciences focus program with Lincoln Public Schools.

Lloyd will continue to work at Bryan Health by advancing partnerships and initiatives focused on health care workforce development in central Nebraska. He will also remain as president of Hastings College.
