CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — If you have ever considered a career with the police department, Saturday is your chance to put your physical skills to the test. 

This is for anyone hoping to enter CCPD’s 84th Police Academy which is expected to start in January.

Just show up to the gated entrance at the CCPD headquarters downtown directly across from Whataburger by the Bay.

Check in is at 7 a.m. and the test will start promptly at 7:30 a.m.

Be sure to wear comfortable workout clothes and shoes.
