Transformative health is the name of the game when it comes to I.T.83 Fitness.
Susie Millenkamp, founder and visionary, built I.T.83 in honor of Isaiah Trujillo, a Lighthouse Christian student lost to suicide. His football jersey number was 83.
Millenkamp wants to implement all things mental health and be transformational from the inside-out and took the time to answer a few questions from the Times-News via email.
Times-News: What made you want to open a gym?
Susie Millenkamp: I love fitness! It helps me with stress, to decompress. Not to mention the personal challenge daily…. When COVID hit and they closed down all the gyms, I was more determined than ever to bring a gym to our community.
