Compared to national data, the numbers on nursing jobs in West Virginia look good.
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are just over 31 registered nursing jobs for every 1,000 jobs in the state. Only South Dakota has a higher concentration. But West Virginia health care stakeholders are still concerned — and not just about registered nurses.
