HIGH NOTES: Free dental, eye and health clinic; law school scholarships

In Hudson Falls, Remote Area Medical will offer residents in need free dental, vision and medical services as part of its pop-up clinic service. The Hudson Falls clinic will be held April 6 and 7 at Hudson Falls High School at 80 East Labarge St. Services available include dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental X-rays, eye exams, eye health exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, women’s health exams and general medical exams. All services are free, with no identification required, and on a first-come, first-served basis. Clinic doors open at 6 a.m. each day. Those seeking services, especially dental services, are encouraged to arrive as early as possible. The clinic closing time may vary based on each service area’s daily capacity. Sunday will be an abbreviated day. The Tennessee-based charity operates free eye, dental and health clinics around the world. In Albany, the Tully Rinckey Foundation, founded through the Colonie-based Tully Rinckey law firm, has awarded scholarships to two Syracuse University College of Law students, Tiffany Johnson and Andrew Michael Patterson, for the Spring 2024 semester. The Tully Rinckey Foundation Military Scholarship was launched to help support current law school students that have served or are currently serving in the military or reserves. The awardees are the first two recipients of the scholarship, and Tully Rinckey plans to also offer scholarships to other law schools throughout the state next year.
