Chino’s annual Healthy Family Day, celebrating health, wellness and pets, will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. April 6 at Ruben S. Ayala Community Park, 5575 Edison Ave.

The city is partnering with the Chino Valley YMCA to present the free event focusing on physical fitness and nutrition.

This year’s Healthy Family Day has a superhero theme, and families are encouraged to dress up in superhero attire, according to a news release.

The event will include entertainment, children’s activities, obstacle courses, wellness screenings and fitness demonstrations, plus information on health, fitness and nutrition.

There will also be food vendors and raffles.

For dog lovers, Healthy Family Day will offer pet adoption opportunities, a best trick contest, a dog photo booth and more.
