“Now what’s interesting is at this center, we don’t use just your prescription that important but we’re actually operating on the optics of the eye. This laser uses something called wavefront technology. Wavefront is what fixed the Hubble telescope, it’s the same technology. So it actually measures the light as it exits your eye and determines the prescription in incredible detail,” says Marc Odrich of UVA ophthalmology.
