Kathleen Sebelius, former U.S. Secretary of HHS and former governor of Kansas, joins Ali Velshi to discuss the dangers of Project 2025’s plan for abortion and childcare, and share her reaction to JD Vance’s recent comments to NBC News’ Kristen Welker about whether Trump would veto a national abortion ban. “They may not be able to get an abortion ban through Congress,” Sebelius explains. “But there’s a whole lot of banning that can happen through executive order, through use of the Comstock Act, through terrorizing providers in states across the country, that will really shut down abortion rights no matter where you live.”
