Crossland Construction donates towards MSSU’s Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center

JOPLIN, Mo. — Missouri Southern has also received quite a bit of generous funding lately, the latest being from Crossland Construction.

The company donated $250,000 to the university’s fundraising campaign for the Roy Blunt Health Science Innovation Center. This is the latest in a long line of donations, which currently total $34 million.

The company is also playing a big role in the project’s construction.

“We’re very grateful for the support of Crossland Construction as part of the ‘Lions Forward’ capital campaign. They’ve been very generous with the university over 30 years — and this is just the latest in a long line of support for our students, programs and our faculty,” said Dr. Brad Hodson, MSSU Exec. V.P.

Along with the construction of the Innovation Center, the “Lions Forward Campaign” is also focusing on scholarships, immersive learning, a student success center, a student activity center, and excellence in academics and athletics.
