With the department down two officers, Gettysburg Borough Police Chief Robert Glenny rescinded his request to revise the physical fitness requirement at the recent council meeting.

Several minutes into the meeting, Glenny entered council chambers announcing, “I withdraw my request to change the physical agility requirements to the civil service commission if it gets the process moving forward.”
