Las Vegas foundation to dole out $285,000 in health care grants thanks to NMDOJ settlement

The New Mexico Department of Justice on Saturday announced that $285,000 in settlement money from a 2022 lawsuit will go toward the Las Vegas New Mexico Community Foundation for expanded health care grants.

The foundation, which will oversee the funds, will award the grants to nonprofits in San Miguel County for “community health care needs,” including behavioral.
