Services will include lab testing for patients and ultrasound imaging as well as diagnostic and genetic testing. There are also teaching rooms for lactation, childbirth and nutrition classes.
“The expansion of our women’s health practice in Smithtown represents a significant step toward ensuring that women in our community have access to the personalized, high-quality care they deserve,” Dr. Stacey Rosen, executive director of Katz Institute said in the news release.
“The expansion of our women’s health practice in Smithtown is an important step in ensuring that patients have the comprehensive, specialized care they need, right in their own neighborhood,” Joseph Baglio, senior vice president of Northwell’s Eastern region ambulatory services, said in the news release. “The investment reflects our ongoing dedication to meeting the evolving health needs of women and fostering wellness across Long Island.”
