As the Trump administration continues to slash the country’s science- and health-related agencies, research grants and access to formerly shared information, scientists and researchers fear that critical projects and advances be halted. The cuts, they say, come at a time when distrust in science is already hampering efforts in climate and public health.
Former National Institutes of Public Health head Dr. Francis Collins recently delivered a keynote address at the Aspen Institute and Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Building Trust in Science conference.
