VP’s trip: Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha, are headed to Greenland for a scaled-back visit, where they’ll forgo a dogsled race and visit a U.S. military base instead, as Trump has renewed his wish for the U.S. to take over the territory. [Reuters]

3 QUESTIONS

… about Ariana Grande’s deluxe album

I asked Yahoo Entertainment reporter and superfan Neia Balao, whose moving-to-L.A. anthem was “thank u, next,” to break down the deluxe edition of Eternal Sunshine.

Divya: So, tell me about this album.

Neia: Arianators have been waiting for this moment! We knew the deluxe version was coming, but we didn’t know when. Eternal Sunshine already felt like such a concise, treasure of an album. Getting six new tracks feels like a total gift.

Divya: Do you have a favorite new song?

Neia: I liked “Hampstead.” It’s very sad girl, and fans believe it’s written about her ex-husband, Dalton Gomez. Ari sings about wanting to feel seen rather than “dying by your point of view,” which hits harder, knowing that she was happily married to him when she wrote “pov” for her 2020 album.

Divya: I heard the album has a companion film. What do we know about it?

Neia: Ariana codirected the short film Brighter Days Ahead. She dropped a very Old Hollywood-coded teaser, which doesn’t surprise me. The short is screening at select theaters across the country, and I have my fingers crossed that I get tickets for the Los Angeles one!

Dive in: Stream the deluxe album.
