THE BLUEPRINT:

  • invested $5M in medical devices for in Greenvale

  • Services include , pelvic and brain therapy

  • Technology-driven treatments include hyperbaric oxygen and Exomind

  • Focus is on evidence-based, holistic wellness for women and men

When Dr. Helen Hsieh opened Greenvale-based Vibrance 360 earlier this year, it wasn’t just about launching a 7,200-square-foot medi-spa – it was about articulating what comprehensive wellness could look like. A board-certified OB-GYN dedicated to , Hsieh created a sanctuary-like space where science and technology – she invested $5 million on medical devices alone – meet whole-body rejuvenation.

From non-invasive body sculpting and facial muscle therapy to , and hyperbaric oxygen sessions, Vibrance 360 is designed to help people not just look and feel better, but become stronger.

“My initial desire was really for women’s health and wellness because I see women from pre-college to post-menopausal,” said Hsieh, who stopped practicing obstetrics to focus on the medi-spa, whose clients include women and men.

Wellness is a $480 billion market in the United States, according to a 2024 report by the management consulting firm McKinsey & Company. The report found that consumers are focused on “products and services that are supported by data and science.”

That’s where Variance 360 comes in. Hsieh, who said she has delivered more than 10,000 babies in over 26 years of clinical experience, infuses science into her approach to health and wellness. The medi-spa employs two physician assistants, two at the front desk, three aestheticians and one manager.

This is not Hsieh’s first medi-spa. She had opened one pre-pandemic in Manhattan. But with COVID-restrictions and social distancing recommendations, it was difficult to attract clients, and she wound up closing the endeavor.

In April, she opened the Greenvale location, choosing the site because it was close to her residence, and many of her patients from her Flushing medical practice had also relocated to Long Island. At the medi-spa’s open house, Hsieh said more than 300 people she had supported over the years attended to show their appreciation.

Many of Hsieh’s post-menopausal patients from her gynecological practice cope with concerns related to intimate and pelvic health that “they didn’t even want to speak about,” especially in the Asian culture, said Hsieh. Sex became undesirable for many of these women, and the scenario would lead to separate bedrooms or even separate houses, with men sometimes finding other partners and bringing back diseases.

“It became a mission for me to try and help these women,” she said.

To address pelvic floor and sexual health, Vibrance 360 features a magnetic chair that simulates the effect of 11,000 Kegel exercises in 30 minutes, enhancing both urinary and sexual function. Additional services include nonsurgical therapies to support sexual health in both women and men, she said.

For body and muscle treatments, Vibrance 360 uses a BTL device that combines electromagnetic stimulation and radiofrequency that are designed to trigger up to 20,000 muscle contractions per session while simultaneously reducing fat.

This same technology includes a rehabilitation mode to aid ligament therapy. “It stimulates the ligament, brings back the flow to the ligament and heals it,” Hsieh said.

A facial muscle stimulation device lifts and defines features, benefiting those with muscle loss, including from injectable weight-loss medications.

Exomind, a non-invasive tool that is FDA-cleared for depression that stimulates key areas of the brain, is used to support cognitive and emotional balance.

“We wanted to help people [struggling] with anxiety, stress, eating disorders, smoking, alcohol to help them sleep better,” Hsieh said. C-suite executives, “need something like this, to help them get through the day with better mental focus.”

sessions are designed to boost oxygenation to support healing and brain clarity. A study published in the peer-reviewed research journal “Aging” shows that the therapy can reverse the aging process by increasing telomere length.

The medi-spa features a red-light booth to reduce inflammation and rejuvenate skin, an infrared sauna designed to improve circulation, and laser skin resurfacing designed to target sun damage, texture and signs of aging. Additional therapies include radio frequency that tightens and rejuvenates skin using heat-based collagen stimulation and hair restoration therapy that aims to promote hair growth. And there are IV therapies, vitamin injections, weight-loss injections and more.

Weight-loss injections are driving new interest in aesthetic products and procedures, according to a 2025 McKinsey & Company report.

Hsieh said she likes to keep things evidenced-based, helping clients track such areas as weight loss and muscle gain.

“I am trying to make this place very innovative in terms of all the technologies that I bring in, and really show results,” she said. “I did a lot of research into every single device that I invested in.”
