Trump told House Republicans this week that he  plans to meet with leaders of 14 health insurance companies “in a few days” to discuss lower health care costs.

The announcement comes after COVID-era health care tax credits expired at the beginning of the year, driving up insurance costs for millions of Americans.

His reflections come as Trump has granted pardons to nearly 1,600 people convicted on charges tied to the insurrection.
