The Real Housewives of Dubai is finally here, providing Bravo fans everywhere with the glittering, spicy cast they were promised. The first season will follow Caroline Stanbury, Nina Ali, Sara Al Madani, Chanel Ayan, Caroline Brooks, and Lesa Milan as they navigate their luxe lives in Dubai. But since the series’ trailers were released, a lot of curious viewers seem just as intrigued to learn about the ladies’ significant others as they are about the women.
One name that may ring a bell, especially if you’re a die-hard soccer fan, is Sergio Carrallo (or Sergio José Carrallo Pendás). Sergio was a professional soccer player way before entering the world of reality TV, but is now married to RHODubai star Caroline Stanbury.

Sergio is a former soccer player for Real Madrid.
Sergio, who is 27, was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. From 2013 to 2014, he played as an attacker for one of the top professional soccer clubs, Real Madrid. Then, from 2014 to 2015, he played for UB Conquense (also based in Spain) before retiring.
After a short stint with the Cosmos in New York, Sergio went on to get two certificates from the University of California at Irvine (media and global communications and digital marketing) in the hopes of pursuing a career in digital marketing, per Screen Rant.
“When I came to LA, I trained for a short time with the Galaxy, but my focus has been on studying at UCI and preparing for my future career,” he said in a UC Irvine alumni spotlight blog.
While getting his certificates, he also interned for California Coast Yachts.

Sergio’s dad often had business in California when he was growing up, so during his summers, Sergio spend time in LA learning English, per the blog post.
Sergio and Caroline had a quiet legal marriage ceremony in Mauritius in November 2021.
Despite their 19-year age gap, the soccer star proposed to Caroline in early January of 2021 while on a trip to Nepal, where the couple was celebrating the new year.
The couple then got legally married in Mauritius before their “real wedding” back in Dubai, according to Bravo. At the time, the UAE didn’t recognize interfaith marriages (the law actually changed to allow these marriages right around that same time). Caroline is Jewish and Sergio is Catholic, so they opted for a legal ceremony elsewhere to deal with any issues that might have arisen in Dubai.

Caroline and Sergio then tied the knot at Raffles The Palm resort in Dubai the next month, per Bravo TV. During the ceremony, the couple was surrounded by family, friends, and a few castmates from Ladies of London, including Juliet Angus, Caroline Fleming, and Sophie Stanbury.

Many of their guests documented the reception, which was held somewhere in the desert, according to social media. The two also shared a few photos of the celebration on their IGs. Caroline captioned one post: “…what can I say this was the most magical party anyone could wish for.”
Their marriage is somewhat unusual in Dubai, what with Caroline’s age difference, but she said it’s been “amazing” so far. “I’m trailblazing the way for women,” she tells WH.
And Sergio’s been mushy on social media too. “It’s crazy how God brings that person to you,” he captioned a recent Instagram reel featuring the two together.

A quick Google search suggests the 27-year-old athlete comes in at 5’11.
What is Sergio’s net worth?
Sergio’s net worth is currently undisclosed, but between his professional soccer career and his marriage to Caroline, he’s probably living a very comfortable life. Caroline shared with WH that the couple just bought their first house together. (I, for one, am curious to know how much they shelled out for it).
“It’s kind of like a do-over. I’m getting to, like, relive my youth again with him,” Caroline says.
While Sergio’s soccer salary isn’t available, the top paid Real Madrid player, Gareth Bale, currently makes more than $41 million per year, which comes out to around $720k per week, according to SportsBrief. And the tenth-highest earner on the team still made $10.2 million per year, or around $200,350 per week. So, I’d imagine Sergio was well compensated during his time on the team.
On top of his own work in marketing and global management, Sergio shares a YouTube channel with his wife, where they have over 11,000 subscribers. It wouldn’t come as a surprise if they were making some revenue off their channel (or their Instagrams) from major brand deals.
