PARIS, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — Horizon Health is expanding its women’s health and urogynecology services with the addition of a full-time health service provider.
Horizon Health announced that Nurse Practitioner Lori Turner has joined the practice of Dr. Arturo Menchaca, who specializes in the treatment of female pelvic floor disorders, including urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and chronic pelvic pain.
“Women’s health has always been my first passion, which I’ve done for more than 20 years,” Turner said.
Turner has more than 40 years of nursing experience, including women’s health, occupational medicine, pulmonary medicine, physical rehabilitation, and community health.

Turner added that she wants to provide access to urogynecology and gynecology in rural area’s such as Paris.
“There are not enough providers for the female population,” she said. “We are definitely in an area where access to women’s health services is needed.”
