GOSHEN — Goshen High School celebrated a significant milestone for students in its Greencroft Academy of Health Sciences program during a Certified Nursing Assistant Pinning Ceremony held last week at Greencroft Communities.

Students completed coursework that combined classroom instruction, hands-on learning, clinical experiences and real-world healthcare training. Through the program, they developed the skills and compassion necessary to provide quality patient care while earning a credential that opens doors to immediate employment and future healthcare careers.

During the ceremony, students were individually recognized and received their pins, a longstanding healthcare tradition symbolizing professionalism, service, compassion and a commitment to caring for others.

The evening’s keynote speaker was Hugh Davis, president and CEO of Greencroft Communities.

“My healthcare career began as a CNA, and I know firsthand the difference these caregivers make every day,” said Davis. “We are proud of these graduates and excited to see the impact they will have through compassionate service and care for others.”

The CNA program is delivered through partnerships with Legacy Medical Academy and Greencroft Communities.

The district also recognized instructor Becky Hulse and Legacy Medical Academy for their leadership and commitment to student success throughout the program.

Staff at Goshen Community Schools said they congratulate this year’s CNA graduates and looks forward to the positive impact they will make in the healthcare profession and their communities.
