America’s Best Outpatient Mental Health Facilities 2027 Survey

Nearly 1 in 7 people globally lives with a mental health disorder, according to the World Health Organization. Depressive and anxiety disorders are the most common conditions.

Around 60 million Americans seek mental health treatment each year, global data analytics firm Statista estimates—a 44% increase since 2022.

To help guide individuals and families looking for the best possible outpatient mental health treatment for depression and anxiety, Newsweek is partnering with Statista to create the America’s Best Outpatient Mental Health Facilities 2027 ranking.

In order to compile the ranking, Newsweek is conducting a survey of mental health professionals familiar with outpatient mental health facilities in their local area that provide assessment and treatment for depressive and anxiety disorders, to recognize the leading treatment facilities in the United States.
