Xella Health has announced an integration with ŌURA to deliver a connected precision health experience designed for women’s biology.
This partnership will combine Ōura’s continuous physiologic monitoring with Xella’s multi-omic diagnostics and physician-guided care to create the first connected health experience.
The arrangement will allow members to choose to share Ōura insights securely with Xella, including activity, heart rate variability, menstrual-cycle data recovery, resting heart rate, sleep, and temperature trends.

Xella clinicians will be able to review those trends alongside diagnostic results and patient check-ins.
The integration is intended to connect changes detected by a wearable with information about possible underlying biological factors.
Xella’s diagnostics assess hormonal, metabolic and reproductive health, inflammation, nutritional status and cardiometabolic risk.
The service will focus on cardiometabolic health, fertility optimisation, hormonal health, perimenopause and women’s longevity.
Physician-guided care plans may then be developed around an individual’s biology, health conditions, goals and treatment plan.

Xella Health CEO and co-founder Kelly Lacob said: “Wearables have transformed our ability to detect physiologic change. By combining continuous data and insights from Ōura with Xella’s molecular diagnostics and clinical care, we’re creating a more complete picture of women’s health, helping women to better understand what’s happening in their bodies and what to do next.”
The integration is aimed at addressing situations in which women experience symptoms such as irregular menstrual cycles, fatigue, fertility challenges, changes in weight or perimenopause but are told to “wait and see” or that the symptoms are linked to stress.
It will also support ongoing monitoring, with clinicians interpreting relevant biometric trends alongside diagnostic findings and member check-ins over time.
Xella’s testing examines billions of data points across hormonal and metabolic systems and can identify more than 130 conditions that are specific to female biology.
“Xella and ŌURA integrate for women’s health management” was originally created and published by Medical Device Network, a GlobalData owned brand.
