UPMC’s Pretty in Pink attendees connect with each other and vendors.
Williamsport, Pa. — Hundreds of local women gathered for UPMC’s annual Pretty in Pink event, an evening focused on connection, education, and women’s health.
“Women spend so much of their time caring for their families, friends, and communities, and Pretty in Pink is an opportunity to encourage them to care for themselves, too,” said Kari Kurtz, director of community relations for UPMC in North Central Pa. “By bringing together 21 community partners and UPMC services in one place, we’re helping women connect with resources, ask questions, and feel more confident making decisions about their health.”
The evening included a panel discussion with UPMC experts Sandra Lentz, CRNP; Samantha Less, PA-C; Dr. Ashley Leberfinger; and Dr. Jenna Farquhar. They shared practical information on women’s health and encouraged attendees to ask questions and take an active role in their care.
