
Queen Elizabeth’s coffin has traveled from Balmoral Castle to the Palace of Holyroodhouse to St Giles’ Cathedral to Buckingham Palace. Today, the Queen’s coffin will be carried by a gun carriage in a procession from Buckingham Palace to the Palace of Westminster. Members of the royal family will walk behind the coffin during the procession.
The Queen’s four children—King Charles, Princess Anne, and Princes Andrew and Edward—will walk the route, along with three of the Queen’s grandsons Prince William, Prince Harry, and Peter Phillips. Anne’s husband Sir Timothy Laurence, the Queen’s cousin Prince Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, and the Queen’s nephew David Armstrong-Jones, the 2nd Earl of Snowdon, will also be in the procession. Queen Camilla, Princess Kate, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex will follow in a car.
