Religious chaplains in Florida public schools are bad substitutes for mental-health counselors


The move to shoehorn Christianity in Florida’s public schools is taking on some unintended consequences. 

I guess you could say the separation of church and state is working in mysterious ways. 

The idea to replace highly trained mental counselors in public schools with religious chaplains – one of Florida’s newest forays into bad governance –  has some strange roots.
