In Washington, it’s becoming more common to see primary care providers offer patients a chance to see a therapist on the same day they come in for a regular checkup.
This model of care, known broadly as “integrated behavioral health care” aims to make mental health services more accessible to a wider range of people, and to reduce the stigma of seeking mental health treatment.
We are looking for people who have received integrated behavioral health care. If you have been offered mental health services through your primary doctor, or have sought out this type of treatment, we want to hear from you about whether it made mental health services more accessible and how easy it was to navigate.
Your perspective will help us better understand how integrated behavioral health care is being used in the community and whether it’s working as intended.
