African American Women’s Health Conference to be held at Shawnee Community College

ULLIN, Ill. — Legacy Training Incorporated will be hosting an event focused on Black women’s health in a couple of weeks.

This year’s 14th annual African American Women’s Health Conference theme is “Shine Brightly”.

The one day conference will also focus on proactive measures for living like adolescent health, yoga for mental health, and having a vision for life, among other relevant topics.

Local authors will be on-hand signing their books, along with a keynote speaker who will deliver a message on the art of self mastery.

One domestic violence survivor will share her triumphant story in hopes of encouraging other women living with domestic violence.

The event will take place at Shawnee Community College on September 14th. The doors open at 8 a.m.
