The release of Aldi’s beauty dupes are some of the most exciting days of the year.
It feels like a mini-Christmas when that middle aisle is stocked high with shiny new makeup and haircare products.
Plus, when they’re dupes for much more expensive brands, it would be rude not to treat yourself to a few when you spot them.
In Aldi’s latest Health & Beauty Specialbuys event, there’s been some great dupes.
I’ve already been seriously impressed by the Kerastase shampoo and conditioner dupes and shoppers have also been snapping up other items, like perfumes and body scrubs.
But, if you’re heading to Aldi soon then there’s another item I’d recommend you pick up – the Lacura Tinted Lip Oil.

The Aldi lip oil costs just £3.99 but it’s a dupe for Selena Gomez’ Rare Beauty Tinted Lip Oil, which costs £20.
The Aldi version comes in three colours, and they’re gorgeous universal shades perfect for any season.
At under £4 they’re a steal anyway, but having now tried all three colours in the name of serious journalism, I can confirm that it’s not just the price that’s impressive.
The Aldi lip oil also has great staying power. I’d say of the three shades the darkest, Merlot Moment is the longest-lasting, but they’re all pretty good.
Once you apply, you get an initial darker colour which then lightens up, leaving a subtle tint.
These are a new makeup bag staple for me, I love them.
