CCC Health Sciences Simulation Center offers real life scenarios to better prepare healthcare students

MOREHEAD CITY — From surgical equipment to mannequins that simulate the birthing process, Carteret Community College now hosts state-of-the-art health sciences classrooms that seem more like hospitals and medical facilities.

CCC trustees toured the Health Sciences Simulation Center following their meeting, held Oct. 9 on the second floor of the Wayne West Building, where the simulation center is located. Congressman Greg Murphy will also tour the facility on Oct. 23.
