Evvy has raised $40m in an oversubscribed Series B funding round to advance and validate its AI-powered diagnostic and care models for women’s health.
The round was led by Catalio Capital Management, with participation from Rethink Impact, Muse Capital, and Alumni Ventures.
Existing investors such as Amboy Street Ventures, Ingeborg, Foreground Capital, and Flywheel Ventures also took part.
Founded in 2021 by Priyanka Jain, Laine Bruzek and Pita Navarro, Evvy has developed a clinical-grade dataset focused on the vaginal microbiome and related women’s health outcomes.
Its machine learning platform, EvvyAI, analyses large-scale biological data to inform diagnostics and treatments.
The company claims that it has so far served more than 100,000 patients and 3,000 practitioners, providing at-home testing, personalised treatment recommendations, and ongoing biomarker monitoring.
The funds will primarily support further clinical validation of EvvyAI-powered diagnostic models and expand distribution through medical professionals and partner organisations.
Initial efforts will be focused on fertility, an area where Evvy sees demand for more precise diagnostic options.
Evvy reports that many of its patients present with vaginal symptoms or fertility issues that standard testing methods have not explained.
The company will also continue its research partnership with US Fertility to investigate links between the vaginal microbiome and reproductive health.
Jain said: “Women hear ‘unexplained’ constantly—unexplained infertility, unexplained recurrence, unexplained pain. It’s stated like a diagnosis, when it really just means medicine wasn’t built to measure female biology.

“Evvy is building the evidence, infrastructure, and partnerships needed to make precision, data-driven care the standard for women’s health.”
Evvy’s tests employ Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA)-certified, New York State Clinical Laboratory Evaluation Program (NYS CLEP)-approved metagenomic sequencing and are ordered and interpreted by licensed clinicians.
