A female employee says she was reprimanded at work because a manager disapproved of her outfit.
TikToker @your_em_ does administrative work in the medical field. She talks to patients from behind a glass where they can only see her from the chest up. So when a manager reported her over her “backside,” she was naturally peeved.

She claimed her boss spoke to her because another manager complained about her work attire.
“Apparently my back side is showing too much and its Inappropriate,” the video text said.
She showed the outfit she was wearing: a face mask, a blue cardigan and a pair of leggings.
“Leggings are allowed at my job but I was asked to change my leggings today,” she added in the comments.
People on TikTok shared their support for the employee.

“I never understood why we prioritize adherence over comfort, like wouldn’t you want your employees to be in clothing that allows them to focus on work,” a person commented.
“This happened to me too at my job and my manager claimed that me and my friend got a lot of ‘attention’ from men. So unfair,” a user wrote.
